Shop for cool clothing, accessories and furnishings at Hustspot on Van Woustraat or on Rozengracht. Or drop in to one of the terrific cafés in the shops for lunch or coffee.
Founded by four young guys with style, Hutspot is the perfect place to shop for unique clothing, accessories, art, housewares and furniture. They stock clothing and accessories for men, women, and even some children’s apparel. It’s the kind of place you can spend a while browsing, finding something new and interesting in every nook. Hutspot has many unique brands that use sustainable materials and have fair production policies for their workers. We love the Kiss and Tell dresses, Kiboots bags, and FLINK knits.
In addition to clothing or accessories for yourself, Hutspot is a great shop to find creative gifts and artwork for your home. We like the large candles in the shape of skulls, spray paint cans, and anatomical hearts. The amazing manta ray hanging sculpture made out of giant fish hooks by Vincent Mock is stunning. And a girl can only dream about getting the huge dinosaur drawing by Anouk Griffioen for the living room.
We also adore their beautiful handmade carpets, industrial light fixtures and wonderful vintage furnishings. There is something cool around every corner. The items are arranged creatively and artistically which makes it even more fun to wander through these huge stores.
Upstairs at both locations you’ll find more home furnishings, an art gallery and the Hutspot Café at the Van Wou location. There’s also a cafe at Rozengracht but it’s run by another company. Pull up a chair to the tables, or take a seat on the comfy sofas (also for sale) and order breakfast or lunch, desserts, coffee, tea, or juice.
Occassionally Hutspot hosts films, dinners and other events so be sure to get the latest update by visiting their Facebook page. The cozy attic filled with books and plants at the Rozengracht location is also available for rent for lectures, conferences and workshops. We’d like to live up there, is that ok?
We love the Hutspot shops! Even if you don’t need to buy anything, we recommend that you stop in to check them out. The lovely architecture and creative merchandising are sure to enchant you.
Have you heard? Hutspot opened a bar next to their Van Woustraat location.
