Toki

Toki came to the Haarlemmerbuurt just in time for coffee lovers on the westside of the center. Come get your fix of tasty cappuccinos and espressos, teas and cakes in their minimalist cool shop. Jeff, the owner, is super awesome and the cafe is a great place to meet up for a chat with friends.

Back to Black Coffee

Bright and friendly, the cutest coffee shop in the Spiegelkwartier is Back to Black. Grab one of the seats outside or in the windows and enjoy the views of the lovely buildings and the canal. Lots of people come here to work on their laptops or have a chat, so it is often bustling.

In addition to tasty coffee, Back to Black also serves teas from Tea Bar as well as homemade cakes and treats.

Caffè il Momento

Located on one of the cutest corners in the center of Amsterdam, Caffè il Momento is the perfect place to take a moment for a delicious coffee while walking around town. Take your coffee to go or relax at one of the marble topped tables in the back and be sure to check out the beautiful antique sink. Or perch on the benches inside or outside the front window and watch the world go by at this busy intersection on the Singel canal.

Koko Coffee & Design

If you’re craving a cappuccino in the heart of Amsterdam be sure to check out Koko Coffee and Design. It is the perfect place to escape the craziness of the Red Light District. The two friendly, lovely ladies who own this shop make yummy espresso drinks in addition to knowing great design. The shop sells fun artwork, unique jewelry, vintage furnishings and exclusive fashions.

Quartier Putain

This terrific coffeehouse is nestled in between the red lights and the oldest structure in Amsterdam, the Oude Kerk. The ground floor contains the coffee bar and an awesome old Seeburg jukebox. Head up to to enjoy your coffee along with great views of the Oude Kerk, or sit outside on a nice day to soak up the ambiance.
