Troost is a restaurant and brewery, well, actually three restaurants and three breweries! Now with locations in de Pijp, West and Oost too.
BROUWERIJ TROOST AMSTERDAM • CRAFT BEER + GOOD FOOD
Brought to you by the folks from Cafe Kostverloren, Brouwerij Troost has a tasting room, cafe and brewery in a former convent in de Pijp. And they’ve opened a beautiful location in Westerpark too with even more space for brewing!
A few months ago Troost also opened their third location in Oost in the Oostpoort just off of Linnaeusstraat.
Their regular beers include blond, white beer, IPA, Smoked Porter and more. And since they’ve opened their huge Westerpark brewery look for more special beers on the menu.
In addition to their own beers brewed on site and some from other local brewers, Troost offers food for lunch and dinner. Of course, almost everything on the menu pairs well with beer. Check out the menu here, and look for the specials on the board in the restaurant. The burgers (including vegetarian burgers) are delicious, some of the best in town, which is not a surprise as Kostverloren, their sister cafe, also excels at them. They also serve nachos, salads, and all kinds of other meals and snacks.
All the restaurant spaces are open and large. In de Pijp you can also sit outside in front of the restaurant and enjoy the fresh air. At the Westerpark location they have a gorgeous huge terrace with plenty of seating and even built in heating for colder nights. The newest Oostpoort location is in an old police bureau with a nice terrace as well. How cool is that?
Reminder: Don’t forget your card, you can only pay with PIN at Troost.

There’s lots more to discover in Westerpark! Enjoy wine at Wester Wijnfabriek, go for a G&T and mussels at Mossel & Gin, play some arcade games at Ton Ton Club and burn off the calories and dance the night away at Pacific Parc.
