Brought to you by the folks behind Repere and Foyer, Choux is a delicious choice for lunch or dinner. It’s definitely one of our favorite new trendy restaurants in Amsterdam.

CHOUX RESTAURANT AMSTERDAM • FRESH, SEASONAL & DELICIOUS

The menu changes monthly and is based on seasonal ingredients and fresh vegetables and fruits.

Choose from three to seven course meals at dinner and prepare to be delighted. The menu describes the dishes simply by listing the four main ingredients. The server will explain more in detail but you are still likely to be surprised. Each dish is a work of modern art with bright colors and flavors. Pair each dish with a glass of wine or just choose a bottle or two to share. We loved the natural wines they recommended to match with our meals. Don’t miss the dessert wines, very interesting!

The menu at lunch is all vegetarian, with the option of the three course meal as well as sandwiches and salads. At dinner you’ll find vegetarian as well as meaty options but there is a heavy use of fresh veggies in each dish.

Prices are very reasonable for the quality, starting at €31 for 3 courses at dinner. Reservations are a must. Call 06 16512364 to book your table.

Choux is located on the ground floor of a large historic building hidden away in plain sight on de Ruijterkade, between the train tracks and the IJ. The project, called Spring House, is currently under renovation and will become a coworking office, meeting space, artist studio and small hotel with a glass house on the roof and an amazing rooftop view over the IJ. Expect lots of interesting activity around this iconic building starting in September 2015.
