Sometimes a healthy, veggie rich meal is just what the doctor ordered! Take a trip with your tastebuds at one of the three locations of Juice & Salad. [CLOSED]
JUICE & SALAD • A HEALTHY BUT NOT BORING CHOICE
After a night out eating bitterballen and drinking beer, some crave a hearty breakfast or brunch to revive the next day. Others might want to revitalize with a big healthy salad and a fresh juice.
Juice&Salad is a cute cafe on Vijzelstraat with a lovely selection of juices, salads and a few other meals that are fresh and delicious.
The salads are named after places around the world. Take a trip with your tastebuds and try the African salad, a mix of red and green lettuce, red pepper, cucumber, lentils and tuna. Or try the South American salad, which includes feta, tomato, avocado, and quinoa. Salads are made to order so you can ask for them with or without meats, for example. The salads are not heavily dressed, and are delicious and refreshing.
Juices are also named for locations around the globe. The South American mixes orange, mango and passionfruit while the Australian includes kiwi and lemon. The carrot, orange, ginger veggie juice is also sweet and delightful.
In addition to Juice&Salad’s international selections, you can also design your own creation with the ingredients they have on hand. Portion sizes are generous and should fill you up without feeling greasy and gross. Eat in or take away from 9am to 21:00.
With three locations around Amsterdam, a healthy meal is not far away!
