KERKSTRAAT 59 • BEST HUEVOS RANCHEROS IN AMSTERDAM
When we heard that there were huevos rancheros at Kerkstraat 59 we hurried right on over to try them out. And we were not disappointed!
Lightly fried tortillas are topped with refried beans, melted cheese, and a sunny side up egg, then slathered with tomato salsa to make this tasty Mexican breakfast dish that Kerkstraat 59 does perfectly.
Omelets, yogurt with fruit and croissants are also available for breakfast. More in the mood for lunch? Try the chicken salad, vegetarian quiche or mackerel sandwich. If you order a coffee drink do not miss the brownie bite that usually comes alongside. We think it may be the very best brownie in town! There’s also homemade lemonade and a good wine list to choose from as well as a full bar.
Kerkstraat 59 is open into the evening for drinks and bites and serves dinner as well. Check their website for opening hours.
The stylish interior of the restaurant is a lovely place to have a meal and a few drinks. Conveniently located near Leidseplein, Kerkstraat 59 is an excellent choice for any time of day. And if you can remember the name you can remember the location!
