If you are a fan of tonkotsu ramen, make your way to Hakata Senpachi for their weekend ramen special. It really hits the spot on a cold and windy day.
HAKATA SENPACHI• RAMEN LOVERS MAKE YOUR WAY TO ZUID THIS WEEKEND
Located across from the RAI conference center, Hakata Senpachi is a traditional yakitori-ya, a Japanese restaurant serving grilled meat on skewers. But come the weekend, Hakata Senpachi also serves up delicious ramen to the regular customers who flock there for their fix.
The ramen lunch is served only on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 15:00. Order a regular or extra large bowl of steaming noodles and savory pork broth, and choose from additional toppings like leeks, sprouts or pickled veggies.
Service is fast and friendly and the restaurant is usually busy, especially when there is a weekend conference at the RAI. The tasty ramen will satisfy the cravings of expats and those who have fallen in love with ramen while traveling abroad. Or if you think real ramen is YumYum Noodles from Albert Heijn then you simply must stop by Hakata Senpachi for a taste of the real thing.
After your filling lunch, take a stroll through the nearby Beatrixpark and maybe grab an ice cream at Pisa IJs if you still have room in your belly.
See you there for a ramen lunch next Saturday!
