TOP 5 RESTAURANTS NEAR AMSTERDAM CENTRAL STATION
Here are five terrific restaurants just a few minutes from the central train station, plus a bonus rooftop lounge. These are the perfect places to meet someone who is traveling by train or to have something to eat before or after you go to Amsterdam Centraal.

Sit down to an amazing three course meal at Choux just a short walk from Central Station. Choux is open for lunch and dinner and serves a set menu based on seasonal produce. We recommend going for the wine pairing as well. It’s a good idea to call ahead for reservations. READ MORE>>
Across the street from the station, 5&33 is a spacious restaurant and lounge serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Go for a full meal, or snack on small plates over drinks. Walk to the north side of the station and hop on the Buiksloterweg ferry for a 2 minute ride across the IJ. Just a few steps away is THT, a lovely restaurant with small plates to share and a great view across the water. READ MORE>>
An old rotating bridge has been transformed into a unique restaurant. Wolf Atelier serves gourmet lunch and dinner overlooking the Westerdoksdijk, and it is just a short stroll from the station. READ MORE>>
Just a few steps outside of the station you’ll find Loetje. The lovely white building known as the Noord-Hollands Koffiehuis was built in 1912. And it now houses Restaurant Loetje, where you can get a steak, burger or sandwich while looking across a canal at the city center. Loetje also has five other locations around town. READ MORE>>
MADAM & MOON
Hop on the free ferry across the IJ and head to the A’dam Toren for a meal with a view. There are two restaurants on the top floors of the hotel. For lunch and dinner, check out rotating restaurant Moon, a prix fixe meal of three to five courses. For lunch, dinner or drinks you can also head to Madam, located on the top deck of the building. Unless you have a reservation you will also need to pay the Lookout entry fee. Bonus tip: The Skylounge is a great place to get a view of it all! Sit on their open roof terrace on a nice day and enjoy a panoramic view over Amsterdam with a drink in hand. They serve snacks and drinks on the top floor of the DoubleTree, and it is just next to the station. READ MORE>>
