Uitmarkt celebrates the opening of the Dutch cultural season and is the Netherlands’ largest cultural festival. Catch a classical quartet, children’s theater, rock concert, ballet, or a film – all for free!
This year Uitmarkt will be held the weekend of August 28-30. More than 2,000 performers will entertain the 50,000 visitors at more than 30 venues at Leidseplein, Museumplein, and near Vondelpark.
Uitmarkt offers a cultural kaleidoscope of various art forms, ranging from ballet to hiphop, literature to film, and theater to jazz. Uitmarkt provides a platform for virtually every cultural institution and artist in the area, and it’s all FREE!
