Do you enjoy delicious organic salads, fresh juices and good coffee? Stop by Venkel in De Pijp for all this and more!
This salad bar in De Pijp has a bright yet rustic interior, cozy seating and delicious food.
Just off the Albert Cuyp Markt, Venkel is conveniently located and open daily for lunch and early dinner. Order one of the salads off the menu or combine your own favorite ingredients for a custom creation. Ingredients you can choose from include tasty things like roasted pumpkin, red quinoa, grilled salmon, goat cheese, red currants, hazelnuts, lentils, roasted eggplant and dried prunes. Yum! Many of the ingredients are locally grown. Dressings are light and flavorful using lots of herbs and spices.
Help yourself to a glass of water from their wall tap, and add some lemon slices if you like. Juices are freshly pressed and include original mixes like basil, spinach and apple or pear and mint. But never fear, you can also get a good cappuccino or a glass of wine! And Venkel has homemade almond milk for those of you who avoid dairy.
The prices are right at around €10 for a nice bowl of yummy goodness that will fill you up but leave you feeling healthy and energetic.
Venkel is the perfect lunching location for those who avoid animal products or gluten, as there are many tasty options available. But meat lovers will be happy too.
We absolutely love that Venkel uses all organic ingredients and does their very best to choose local and sustainable products. Take a look at the bowl your salad is served in – it’s made of bamboo and corn! Wow! And the wood tables? They are locally made from an old fallen Vondelpark tree! Cool!
Don’t feel like leaving home or work for a yummy salad? You can get Venkel’s food delivered too!
Try it soon, we bet you’ll love it too!
